Dr. Reekesh Patel
Dr. Reekesh Patel is Double Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Interventional Pain Management.
Dr. Patel predominately grew up in Southern California. He did his undergraduate studies at UCLA. After graduating from UCLA, he went to St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed a Medicine Internship at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Patel went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, where he was appointed Chief Resident. After completing residency, Dr. Patel continued his training with a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the University of Iowa Medical Center in Iowa City.
Dr. Patel specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various disorders of the spine, musculoskeletal system and other pain conditions. His clinical focus combines a multimodal treatment plan using evidence-based treatments, rehabilitative approaches and interventional procedures for chronic pain management.
In his spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys traveling as well as being a big sports fan: basketball (the Lakers), baseball (the Dodgers), Football (the Raiders) and UCLA Sports.
Dr. Kunal R. Parikh
Dr. Parikh is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UNLV School of Medicine in the Department of Surgery. He is dual board certified in Pain Management and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, he is fellowship trained in Interventional Spine & Pain Medicine.
Dr. Parikh was born and raised in Southern California where he did his undergraduate education at UCLA. After graduating from medical school with honors, he went on to complete his General Surgical internship and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of medicine in Manhattan, New York. Dr. Parikh went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and subspecialty fellowship Interventional Spine & Pain medicine at the SUNY Upstate Medical University where is served as both Chief Resident and subsequently as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Parikh specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of pain conditions as it relates to the spine/musculoskeletal system as well as a wide range of other acute and chronic pain illnesses. He utilizes a multidisciplinary approach in his approach to pain management to restore function and quality of life to his patients.
